University is a smaller university that is diverse for its size, offering more than 70

College (B-W) is located on a 50-acre campus in a picturesque, safe suburb of Cleveland,
20 minutes from downtown. The campus is lively, with many activities and sports. ALA
students may enroll as full-time students at the College if they have completed ALA's
Level 5 or obtained a TOEFL score of 500. Part-time enrollment is possible for both Level
4 and 5 students with ALA's permission. The American Language Academy (ALA) has been

The College of
Mount St. Joseph is a private, Catholic institution which is fully accredited by the North
Central region. The Mount enrolls 2,600 students and offers international students a
friendly, small college atmosphere. The beautiful suburban campus overlooks the Ohio River
and is just 15 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. The ESL program offers 20 classroom hours
of instruction each week (four hours each day) at the intermediate and advanced levels.
English for academic purposes is emphasized.
