School Introduction

The college is situated in an attractive parkside location close to central Croydon and 20 minutes by train from central London, and London Gatwick airport. Although it is so close to one of the main cultural and commercial centres of Europe, the college is also within minutes of some of the most beautiful countryside in the south of England. It occupies an Edwardian villa, modernised and extended to comprise a library, purpose-built science laboratories, an examination hall, computer rooms, a student refectory and music room together with well equipped classrooms. A new high-tech learning centre, built in 2003, offers state-ofthe-art ICT facilities, including an international library and lecture theatre. In 2004 a new language school was opened, offering bespoke EFL support. The local landmark adopted by the college is an imposing victorian water tower, which features on the college crest.
Courses Offered

Top quality pre-university programmes in a wide range of subjects are offered, including an intensive one-year GCSE course, (starting in September), a fast-track A-level course (starting in January) and a two-year A-level course, starting in September. Bespoke language teaching runs alongside the academic courses and is also offered as 'stand-alone' courses. A good range of activities is offered, including sporting, cultural and social events, together with trips and visits. A programme of visiting speakers offers enrichment to the curricular programme.
